Mahmoud's jealousy reaches the point where he suspects that there is a relationship between his wife and her manager. He asks his wife to resign from her job. She thinks a little in order to teach her husband a lesson, so she accepts and responds to his request so that she can limit his jealousy.

The mayor of an Upper Egyptian village has monopoly over beans which harms the simple villagers while getting high profits for the mayor. As one of the villagers stands up to the mayor and rallies the people, they decide to gather money to monopolize beans themselves.

Nabil sees a young man throwing himself with the intention of committing suicide. Nabil saves him from committing suicide, but Nabil drowns while saving him. This young man regrets his actions and tries to fix his mistake by getting close to Nabil's widow.
